Hey We're Back...with some new research on 13-17 yr. olds, our first year's data, a friend from Smithsonian, and a brave proposition for you!
Darren Milligan (Senior Digital Media Strategist) with the Smithsonian Center for Learning and Digital Access and I, Brian Ausland with Navigation North Learning Solutions, are excited to propose a new pilot partnership between the Smithsonian Learning Lab and California State Parks. Since seeing you last time, we added an embed tool that allows your teams to build out beautiful digital collections and/or curricular learning collections that can be generated on the Smithsonian Learning Lab platform and then placed directly on your own state park site. Darren and his team have a partnership we'd like you to consider and our first few examples are here for you to take a look at:
Join us in outlining this exciting new approach and what we hope will be a model program for many other state's park systems, the National Parks, and other agencies and institutions that posess valuable learning resources and place-based experiences that can be captured and delivered to classrooms all across our country. Bring some of your digital assets with you by way of pictures, handouts, maps, and artifacts, etc on your laptop or tablet and we will introduce you to the tools to start creating your Digital Learning Collections right during our session. Thanks, Brian from Navigation North!
